The standard fee is $35/day for the first three days and $125/day thereafter. After the third day the fee may be adjusted based on family income, if the agency receives the required financial information. Both parents are legally responsible for their children. Both parents are billed, even if one is paying child support. The bill is calculated using the standard fee, the split in half. Each parent's financial information is applied to their half of the bill.

We urge taxpayers to mail several days early to avoid postal delay when mailing from community mail boxes. You may consider going to the Post Office and having them hand-cancel your envelope to assure a timely postmark.
