The election on April 7 is proceeding. Washington County and the Wisconsin Counties Association are participating in cases that look to delay the election. In short, Washington County may be left without a valid county board and an operational leader.

Right now, voters must still request a ballot or vote absentee in person.

Voters are to visit myvote.wi.gov. Click VOTE ABSENTEE. Enter legal name and DOB. Click REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOT. Follow prompts to confirm address and select which elections to receive a ballot for. Voters may have to upload a picture of their photo ID. It may be easiest to use a smartphone.
