No Call Lists/Junk Mail
There are two No-Call Registries available if you choose to receive fewer telemarketing calls at your home or mobile phone. If you contact the National Do Not Call Registry, your registration will be effective for 5 years and you can register your home or mobile phone for free. Telemarketing calls should lessen once your phone number has been on the registry for 31 days. You can either call 1-888-382-1222 or register on-line.

Consumers can sign up on the Wisconsin No Call List 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. The updated no call list is given to registered telemarketers quarterly so it may take 30-120 days for unwanted calls to lessen. Registration is effective for 2 years. Contact 1-866-9NOCALL (1-866-966-2255) or register your phone number on-line.

In order to remove your name from mailing lists and reduce the amount of "junk mail" received at your home, you can do so by visiting the Direct Mailing Association's website. You can either register on-line for a $5.00 fee or print an application and register by mail (free of charge). Registration lasts for 5 years. Please visit the website for detailed information.
