||Sealed single prime bids are invited to remove and replace UPS Batteries on four (4) separate UPS systems in two (2) facilities located in Washington County, WI. Bids will be received for a single prime contract to remove and install approximately 98 batteries. Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and remove all debris and existing material and disposal of existing batteries from the project site. An alternate bid to replace the capacitors and fans on one (1) UPS System is included. Contractor shall supply all parts (including capacitors and fans), labor, equipment, tools, materials, and remove all debris and existing material. Bids will only be considered from firms with the capabilities, experience & expertise for this type of work. Bidder’s must explain their qualifications to perform this type of work and provide at least 3 references of similar, past projects successfully completed within the past 2 years that Washington County may contact to verify bidder’s experience and qualifications for this type of work. Bids shall be made on the bid forms provided as included in the bid packet. The batteries for the UPS Systems will be purchased as an owner direct purchase with the assistance of the awarded contractor. Washington County reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids or parts thereof deemed to be unsatisfactory or not in the County’s best interest. Furthermore, Washington County reserves the right to cancel any order or contract for failure of the successful bidder to comply with the terms, conditions and specifications of the bid request and/or contract. Washington County reserves the right to award the bid in the aggregate or by item or like item groups (where applicable) to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder who complies with the specifications, service and can meet the requirements of this request.
